South Tyneside Homes is the company who manages, maintains and improves council homes and estates within South Tyneside on behalf of South Tyneside Council.

So what are we looking for?

We are looking for two highly motivated individuals who are enthusiastic, passionate and keen to join our team as a Business Administration Apprentice. We are looking for candidates who are keen to learn to complete the full Apprenticeship Standard, which includes a set time of work experience.

You will support the Corporate Business team and the wider organisation to deliver a number of important roles to meet our strategic objectives, vision and develop a positive working environment for our staff.

You will need to have a minimum of 4 GCSE's grades A*- C or  9-4 including English and Maths, prior qualifications in Business Administration / Housing is not a requirement as you will gain this as part of your apprenticeship.

What will I get in return?

Working as a Business Administration Apprentice, you will develop skills, knowledge and experience working as part of an organisation wide business support service that provides a range of essential services to support teams across South Tyneside Homes. You will receive a high level of training and experience which will enable you to complete your apprenticeship in Business Administration and prepare you for an exciting career.

You will work with a friendly and vibrant, highly motivated team that excels in delivering a first class service. You will provide both individually and as part of a team an excellent customer focussed delivery, offering a wide and varied range of services and resolving enquiries at the first point of contact for our internal and external customers.

Key areas of work within the role will include HR administration, customer engagement, communications and marketing and service improvement.
