In partnership with South Tyneside Council, South Tyneside Homes provide a Housing and Area Management service. Through the integration of housing management, community safety, cleansing and estate management services we provide a tenure blind service that focuses on improving the appearance of the borough and the services that are provided to residents.
We have a permanent full time vacancy to help us achieve our vision of making South Tyneside cleaner, safer and greener. We are looking for an exceptional person to work in our team - would you like to be part of this challenge?
The service covers 2 areas - tenancy sustainment and area management. You may be required to work across both areas.
Tenancy sustainment focuses on:
-Tenancy changes and associated legislation
-Property Condition cases
-Ensuring tenants are able to access relevant support to sustain their Tenancy
Area management focuses on:
-Building Compliance inspections
-Area based campaigns focusing on issues such as fly tipping & dog fouling
We are looking for a pro-active individual who will support the delivery of an integrated approach to housing and area management, in particular cleaner, safer and greener services in neighbourhoods.
Interested? You should have experience of working in an area management, community safety, tenancy service and/or social housing environment alongside front line customer facing environment and experience of prioritising personal workload and meeting deadlines. You should also have experience on dealing with customer complaints and enquiries and be able to demonstrate service excellence.
