Overview
South Tyneside residents can receive free energy-related advice as part of South Tyneside Homes Energy Roadshows which were held across the borough throughout September 2024.
What help is on offer
South Tyneside Homes' Home Energy Support Officer will be on hand to welcome you and introduce you to Groundwork's Green Doctor.
Representatives from Citizens Advice, Age Concern, Northumbrian Water and South Tyneside Council's Welfare Support Team will also be on hand to provide advice as well as offer support with finances and money management.
Attendees will be able to find out about:
- how to reduce your fuel bills
- the dangers of carbon monoxide
- local energy support available
- Energy Performance Certificates
South Tyneside Homes' Involvement Team will be there to explain the different ways that you can help shape the future of South Tyneside Homes.
Our Energy Roadshow events in March 2024 were attended by over 200 people and were well received by attendees.
